  7. What is JamMail?
  8.  
  9. JamMail is the first WPL.library mailer genertor.  What this means is
  10. through the use of the JamMail program, you will be generating a custom
  11. Front end for your system.  No extra code will be in the .wpl file that
  12. isn't required for your system.  If you are running as an end user and
  13. don't answer the phone at all, not a line of code that is for answering
  14. the phone will be created.  Once you have generated your S:JamMail.Wpl
  15. file, you will not need to run the JamMail program again unless you need
  16. to change something.  The S:Setup script launches WPL and loads and runs
  17. the S:JamMail.wpl script that you generated.

  33. For those with FTP access, we now have our own Jam support directory.

  38. sending archives to Aminet every blue moon though.

  45.  - work on JamPhone GUI, JamMail Cfg GUI and JamMail Mailer GUI will likely
  46.    hold up future versions for a while.

  50. Changes - July 27th

  52.  - added s/zmhon and s/zmhoff scripts to be executed by some "Cron" program
  53.    to be executed before and after Zone mail hour.  You may want to run them
  54.    once per hour.  normally, you'll also want to execute the zmhoff script in
  55.    your user-startup so the variables have a default value.

  58. Changes - July 24th

  60.  - fixed a bug in the scheduler relating to dial sets.  I don't know how long
  61.    its been there, but it slightly disabled some of the functionality.

  66.  - JamLogTrim added to archive.  Some people were requesting some easy way
  67.    to trim their logs.

  72.    but is still needed to edit the phone book.  Hopefully its replacement will
  73.    be available soon.

  96.  - JamSched - the replacement for JamTool is now included in the package.
  97.    PLEASE NOTE!  Unless there's something wrong with JamSched, there is no
  98.    reason for JamTool to be on your systems anymore.

  100.  - JamSched now compiles with the Adaptive dialing system for dialing UUCP
  101.    systems as well.
